Navigate Our Neighborhood

Forge Theatre is located in a residential area off the main street of downtown Phoenixville. Please observe our Good Neighbor Policy and do not park on First Avenue. 

The directions, below, will take you to a parking lot for the theatre at the corner of Washington and Main Streets. This is the parking lot of the First Presbyterian Church. Please be aware that if the church has an event or if it is the first Friday of the month you may be asked for a donation. (For information about handicapped parking, please contact the theatre at 610-935-1920.)
Directions
From Philadelphia and Points East
  • Take the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) west
  • Exit I-76 in King of Prussia onto US 202 south
  • Follow US 202 south to the exit for Route 252 / Swedesford Road
(The Gateway Shopping Center will be on your right as you exit)
  • At the traffic light at the end of the ramp, turn right onto Route 252 / Valley Forge Road
  • Follow Route 252 through Valley Forge Park, bearing left as it changes to Valley Creek Road
  • At the traffic light at the T-intersection at the end of Route 252, turn left onto Route 23 / Valley Forge Road
  • Follow Route 23 into Phoenixville, where it becomes Nutt Road
  • Turn right onto Main Street
(Sal’s Pizza Box is on your right and a Sunoco is on your left at the intersection)
  • Follow Main Street to Washington Avenue
(Washington Avenue is one block past First Avenue)
  • Turn left onto Washington Avenue, and park in the church lot directly on your right
From Norristown
  • Take Main Street west to Egypt Road
  • Follow Egypt Road to the end
  • At the flashing light, turn left onto Route 29 / Bridge Street
  • Follow Route 29 south across the bridge into Phoenixville
  • Turn left onto Main Street
  • Turn right onto Washington Avenue, and park in the church lot directly on your right
From Exton/Lionville
  • Take Route 113 north to Phoenixville
  • At the traffic light at the T-intersection, turn right onto Route 113 / Route 23 north
(KFC/Taco Bell will be on your right, and a McDonald’s in front of a large shopping center will be ahead of you)
  • Turn left at the third light onto Gay Street
(The turn is just before Gateway Pharmacy on your left)
  • Follow Gay Street to First Avenue, and turn right onto First Avenue
  • Pass Forge Theatre on your left, and make the first left onto Main Street
  • Take Main Street one block to Washington Avenue
  • Turn left onto Washington Avenue, and park in the church lot directly on your right
From West Chester and Points South
  • Follow US 202 north
  • Exit onto Route 100 north
  • Follow Route 100 through Exton, and turn right onto Route 113 north
  • (See Exton/Lionville directions)
From Points West
  • Follow I-76 East (PA Turnpike)
  • Exit right to Pottstown Pike (Route 100 South)
  • Turn left at the first traffic light onto Route 113 north
  • (See Exton/Lionville directions)
Parking
When you visit the theatre, please observe our “Good Neighbor Policy” and do not on First Avenue. Parking may be available at the large church lot at Washington and Main Streets.

After your purchase, print your tickets and a parking stub will print out with a map detailing where to park as well as a window insert indicating your Forge patronage for the evening of the purchased tickets.

To reach the theatre from the parking lot, walk south along Main Street, and turn right onto First Avenue. Forge Theatre will be on your right. The total walk is approximately one-fifth of a mile.​
