At school, she’s bullied by the popular crowd, and virtually invisible to everyone else. At home, she's dominated by her loving but cruelly controlling mother. But, when Kira falls into forbidden love with the mortal Sonny, her jealous sisters take advantage of the situation, and chaos abounds. Based on the Universal Pictures cult classic movie, Xanadu is hilarity on wheels for adults, children and anyone who has ever wanted to feel inspired. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses, and the rum flows, tensions emerge and the gloves come off, leaving the couples with more than just their liberal principles in tatters. |

A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE by Tennessee Williams
Feb. 24-25, 2023; March 3-4, 10-11, 2023 @ 8PM; March 5 & 12 @ 2PM Auditions: Nov. 6 & 7 @ 7PM Directed by Renee Schultz The play reveals to the very depths the character of Blanche DuBois, a woman whose life has been undermined by her romantic illusions, which lead her to reject—so far as possible—the realities of life with which she is faced and which she consistently ignores. The pressure brought to bear upon her by her sister, with whom she goes to live in New Orleans, intensified by the earthy and extremely “normal” young husband of the latter, leads to a revelation of her tragic self-delusion and, in the end, to madness. |

Now bring your knowledge of these plays to Frog Level, Virginia where the trailer park of Capulet Hills is feuding with that of Montague Acres over which one will remain standing after a new Walmart will replace the property of the other. Meanwhile, their love for Nascar racing equals their hate for each other. |

June 2-3, 9-10, 16-17, 23-24, 2023 @ 8PM; June 18 & 25, 2023 @ 2PM Auditions – Feb. 26 & 27 @ 7PM Directed by Christa Wisneski; Assistant Director Tom Pitt A small group of people help Jesus Christ tell different parables by using a wide variety of games, storytelling techniques and a hefty dose of comic timing. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus' life dances across the stage. Dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion, Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love come vibrantly to life. |
