| The earth's diminishing
water supply leads to a government-enforced ban on private
toilets and the rise of the oppressive Urine Good Company,
which holds a virtual monopoly on all public restrooms and
forces the citizens, regardless of their ability to pay, to
fork over higher and higher fees for the "Privilege to
Pee." A send-up of classic Broadway musicals like West
Side Story and Les Misérables, Urinetown is
a rollicking tongue-in-cheek parable about love, greed, and
revolution. So, when Urinetown rolls around, please
pardon us for saying so, but "you really have to
go!" |
