The 2008-2009 season Playreading Committe meets on a monthly basis and is comprised of volunteers from the general membership. The Playreading Committee is under the supervision of the General Productions Board Member. |

Update - November 13th, 2007. We reduced the Musical List from 26 plays to 6. Our criteria for leaving a play on the list were 1) How recently has it been done locally? Anything done in the last 2 years or so we took off for consideration next year or the year after; 2) Can we get the rights? Renee has been diligently checking availability for us and some plays had to go because they will not be available or the issue is sketchy; and 3) Do we think the play would have sufficient DIRECTOR interest? In the past, we have had to drag directors out to do plays that the committee has recommended -- we don't want that to happen this year. The next meeting of the Committee will be Saturday, December 1st at 1:00 p.m. at the theatre
